You've chosen difficult verbs to express the "prayer".

"prepossess" could be "captivate"
"flush me", perhaps " illuminate me"

About "stream" I don't imagine what you mean with it.

you could also say "fulfil" instead of "prepossess". I disagree with "captivate". But I agree with "illuminate me".

The word "durchströmen" consist of 2 words: durch + strömen. A word by word translation would be "through + stream". What about "flow through" or "seep through"?

"overflow" sounds good in German it would be "überfluten/überströmen" Now the next question: fulfill or fulfil? American English or British English??

I don't mind, you may use the form you like better.

Why not "surround me with light"?

Hello pirulito, the original text says "durchfluten". "illuminate" is a good transalation.

I think it better be "infuse (me with)", not "overflow"...
