Anmerkninger gjeldende oversettelsen
There is a mistake in the original. The word "bulium" doesn't exist in Turkish. If it was supposed to be "bulayım", as I had assumed, then this translation is correct. If, on the other hand, it was supposed to be "buldum", then the translation should be "I found it."

Why not "buldum" in the past, as in the first part?

Aha - you're right - it might have been that. That would change the translation to "I found (it)." I'll ask the requester if she's sure that she copied it correctly.

I checked with her - she said she just copied it. I'll add a note to the translation.

Hi all

I think you are right Laura. We say "buliim" in daily spoken language which means "bulayım". There is just a typo.

So, it would be better to tranlate it as "Let me find it.". Because if we said "I will find it", then the meaning becomes "Bulacağım.".

Not necessarily, handyy. "I'll find it" can have the meaning of future, but it can also have the meaning of volunteering, as when someone says, "I'll do it!" "Let me find it" means "Give me permission to find it" - it is not the singular of "let's".

Oh, I didn't know that! Then there is no problem with the translation.
