I think the verb "opprimere" in latin does not express the English "surprise" meaning. Also, I would change the Latin word "ideam" by another one as "notionem".

I'm sorry I don't agree on your first point. There isn't any word "surprise" in this English request. We have here "suppress" and it is nothing else but "opprimere" in Latin.
But I like your suggestion to change "idea" into "notionem". The word corresponds better with English "idea" indeed. Despite appearances...
