Hi lepurica, does it mean one of the parents is Polish and the other is Romanian (of Romanian and Polish parentage)?

Or does it refer to a culture that is the product of influences from both Romania and Poland (Of Romanian and Polish heritage)?

According to the Oxford dictionary "patrimony" means also "heritage". And this is the exact translation of the Romanian word "patrimoniu" (which could be rough translated "cultural heritage" ), besides both words are originated from the same latin word "patrimonium". The translation would be about both Romanian and Polish heritage. We call "patrimoniu" all the historical monuments, castels, the royal jewelry, paintings or sculptures, art in general etcaetera.

Hope that helps.

While you decide if the translation is good or not, I've accepted the translation. samanthalee, you rejected it with a 10, was it a mistake ? When there is a discussion about a translation, the best thing is not to evaluate it while we all agree.
