Acho que me engracei
Remarks about the translation
This comes from a Brazilian short story by Dalton Trevisan, “A Faca no Coração”. Really the only word I don't know is "engracei". Obviously it's first person (eu) preterit, but I can't find the definition anywhere. Thanks for the help!

Translation into English OR Spanish would be great.

Title
I think I fell in love
Translation
English

Translated by Borges
Target language: English

I think I fell in love
Remarks about the translation
"Engracei" could mean very less than "fall in love". Could mean only a good feeling for someone recently meet or even something. It's hard to say without the context but it is more likely to mean "falling in love".

By the way, it has the same root of "grace" if it helps.
