Translation

Translated by Mesud2991
Target language: English

I am going to go to university in two years. I want to study at a university in Korea. I hope I will achieve this. If I could come there, please promise to meet me. Take care of yourself and be strong. We're always behind you. By the way, you look so sweet with short hair.

Some problems with the translation.

First of all, the context tells us that the author will go to university in two years time, or two years from now. Two years later doesn't work here because the reader won't know what the "later" is in reference to.

Another obvious mistake: "please promise to make the introduction". Not only does this sound unnatural in English; it's also a mistranslation of the source text. This should be "please promise to meet me".

I'd also change the "we always stand behind you" to a more natural-sounding "we're always behind you", or "we'll always support you", etc. Also- "cute" is better than "sweet" here, I think.

I would like to ask something; does "please promise to make the introduction" have a different meaning?

'Please promise to make the introduction' sounds like you ask someone to introduce you to someone else

Thank you, I will make the edits in the translation
