Romani etiam cum Gallis et Germanis armis et telis pugnabant. Arma Romanorum erant galea, scutum, lorica; tela erant pilum, gladius, sagitta. Signum Romanorum aquila erat. Tuba copias e somno excitabat et ad pugnam vocabat. Romani tormentis saxa iactabant et machinis oppida expunabant. In bello cottidie castra collocabant et vallo fossaque firmabant.
