De Romanis
Romani bellum amabant.

About the Romans
The Romans loved the war. The guns and the battles and the wars always delighted the Romans. The Romans even fought with the Galls and the Germans with weapons and arrows (exact translation: thrown weapons). The Romans’ weapons were helmets, shields and armours. The throwing weapons were the spears, the swords, the arrows. The sign of the Romans was the eagle. The trumpet was waking up from the sleep the troops and it was calling them to the war. The Romans were throwing stones with the catapults (from the catapults) and assaulting with machines. In the war, daily, they were laying out their encampments (camps) and they were fortifying them with fortifications and trenches.
