Same thing: when followed by 'then', I think another word (because, as, ...) would be better than 'since' because of the very commonly used combination 'since then' which sends people the wrong way. Let me know if you agree and I will set a poll

I think it would sound better in English as:

"Why am I not
more careful?
Then, I will not apologize
all the time."
