Why should I send you photos of my elder sister?
I won't do this without her permission.
I just saw your message. I'm sorry for seeing and replying to it so late.

Hi, Bilge Ertan;

To paraphrase the last line: The person is not sorry for seeing the message just now, is sorry for replying late. I mean "I've just seen your message and I'm sorry for my late reply" Am I mistaken?

I agree with Bilge because of "and" in between two sentences.

Hovewer, it's not meaningful to apologize because of seeing a message. In fact, in my opinion, the Turkish text should be edited, as well. "Geç yanıt verdiğim için üzgünüm; mesajını yeni gördüm (this is the reason why s/he is sorry)."

That is, "I've just seen your message and I'm sorry for my late reply" is better personally.

Hi all,

I can't see a big difference between my sentence and what you suggest. What do you think Lilian? Is it meaningless like this?

Hi guys,

I think I agree with angelsrolls about that "sorry" issue. His version would sound more natural in English.
Otherwise, if you really want to mean that you are sorry for both (seeing the message so late and therefore sending the reply also late) I'd use:

"I just saw your message. I'm sorry for seeing and replying to it so late"

What do you think?

I think your suggestion is really good. We can change it.
