Here is the TDK definition for 'yaÅŸamak':

As I said before here ‘yaşamak’ means to do enjoyable things and I never heard 'yaşamak' has a meaning similar to 'realize' ("bir planı gerçekleştirmek" is correct, but "bir planı yaşamak" is incorrect to me).
While we imagine, others live their life, live it up, do something enjoyable. (I’m pretty sure this is the meaning.)
