The only doubt I have is about that 'what about'; I think 'what do you mean, "recently" ' would capture the meaning better.

I based "what about recently" on the Greek original,"Τον τελευταίο καιρό;", literally "regarding the last moment".

It's very hard to translate it without a decent context :s

I agree with Lein. "recently" is an echo, a repeat of other person's words. " 'recently'?????It's been ages since...!!!!"

I see. My Greek doesn't stretch this far so I based myself on the bridge by User10 (in the discussion under the Dutch translation).

About the last frase, I´m not sure if it is "I was just teasing you".
By reading the text in greek I understood that is about the present. So "I am just teasing you".

I agree Xristi, but when translating I care more about "gut feeling" than stricly translating each time (which sometimes is impossible too).

What I'm trying to say is; if a person would say "I was just teasing you" he/she can either refer to something that happened long ago, or something that happened just now (+/- the present).

I would edit it to reflect a present tense though, but for some reason the translation is locked for me :s

about that "gut feeling" I'm talking about.
I believe that says that the previous words here translated are not to be taken seriously.
See?
