It may look pleonastic and burocratic, but it is so in Italian too.
It means "As previously agreed, I sent you the fixed (or maybe settled?, just so as not to repaeat agreed) amount....
On the contrary, the second sentence begins with a non-burocratic "ora" = now (herewith seems too formal). | | |
