Hello Taino!
This translation of yours is going to be evaluated as soon as an expert in English will be available.

Sorry if it takes time, but you know this July-August period is a holiday period, and everything goes slower at this period.
Please be patient.

Thank you,

Best regards,

Taino wrote "forgive me" and it's a correct translation for "affet beni"

The english translation has almost nothing to do with the french one!

Hi!

I think that "Mon chéri j'ai été trop injuste envers toi" means "my love, I was very unfair to you".

Let's don't forget that this is a "meaning only" translation. So "I grieved you a lot, I've been unfair to you, and so on, have the same meaning, it tells about the same kind of apologies.
What we could do, if taino hasn't got anything against it, is to edit the beginning of the text with what kfeto said in his 25 August 2008 06:14 post, that will give :
" There are four days left until my love's departure"
Would it be correct this way, kaf?

Thanks for your PM, Miss, in my English-French dictionary I've got "affliger, peiner, désoler", so it shouldn't be "I grieved for you a lot", it should be "I grieved you a lot"

it is not accurate

It does not matter as this is a "meaning only" request, glavkos; it means that an accurate translation from this text was not requested, and as far as the requester's got the meaning of this text, we won't demand the translator to do a perfect translation.

"I grieved for you" is wrong - that means that you are dead and I cried because of it. "I grieved you" doesn't exist in English.

The meaning of this is that I did something bad to you. It should be "I did you wrong".

Je pense qu'il faut mettre "Honey" seulement, à la place de "My honey"

Yes, that would be better. Or "My sweet".

Canım = My soul

Yes, but we don't say that in English. "Canım" is a term of endearment, so it should be translated with an English term of endearment. "Honey" is fine.
