"που προήλθε από αυτά που είχε και που δεν πήρε."It doesn't make any sense in greek.Could someone explain to me what it says in the original text??

It is weird in Portuguese too.
The first sentence reads:

I am really surprised about how this huge wealth took such a poverty as its home.

The second line doesn't make much sense, it reads:

It (the wealth) came to what was its (the home) and its (the people at home) didn't welcome it (the wealth).
