Kafetzou, I’m originally from England but I live for more then 30 years in Holland now. I think you can use the both options.

Wow - it seems you've become completely hollandized! We would say "I've lived in Holland for more than 30 years" - a native speaker would never say "I live" in this context.

Anyway, I wasn't questioning your English. It's just that I can't understand the Dutch original, so I was wondering which it meant in English - "we shouldn't" is quite different from "we don't need to" in English!

But it's not important anymore - the translation has been validated (by me).
