Ju falenderoj per perkthimin . Kuptimi ka dale . Por mendoj qedo te ishte me mire nje variant tjeter perkthimi .
Une vet nuk kam aftesi te mira ne anglisht.Por gjykoj se do te ishte me sakte mendimi qe kam une deri tani per kete perkthim .
"Zemerimi te ben me te vogel ndersa zemermiresia ju ngre me tej nga ajo cfare ju jeni "
Sentencat kerkojne perkthim te kualifikuar , ndoshta edhe midis specialistave (perkthyesve te afirmuar) te shumte . Kjo sentence njifet si thenie e nje personi te njojtur ne kulturen mbare boterore cherie carter-scott.

Me respekt enost

He said: "Thank you for the translation. The meaning is there. But I think another version of translation would be better. I do not have good abilities in English. But I think that my idea for this translation would be more accurate... (then enost gives his version of Albanian translation of the sentence). Dicta require qualified translation maybe even among numerous specialists (professional translators). This dictum is known as originating from a well-known person in the world's culture cherie carter-scott.

So kafetzou, this is a translation into English of what enost said.

Thank you Sangria. What's "dicta"? And who is Cherie Carter-Scott?

I think she wants to say "expression, proverb" (dictum). Dicta is plural.

I still don't understand. How can a proverb require something?

I don't know. I think she simply wants to say that translation of "dicta" requires much work and experience if compared to everyday sentences...

Hi,

It's not me who is saying that the proverb requires.... I have just translated faithfully the opinion of enost.

If enost knows how to translate it better, why did he submit it for translation?

Anyhow, Sangria, if you're happy with the translation, you should go ahead and validate it. You're the only one who can, since you're the only Albanian expert.
