Can we put emphasis on the sentence 'you consumed me' by saying 'you ate me up inside'? If so, It would be better in that way.

I don't agree, because if we translate it (beni bende bitirdin) word by word, the translation will not be meaningful. that's why i chose "consume". I think, this verb expresses same meaning.

Thanks for your comment! I am not sure 'you ate me up inside' would give more emphasis than 'you consumed me'. To me, both have a very similar meaning here, so I will accept this translation as it is. I hope that is ok with everyone

Oh, by the way, you are allowed to make comments in Turkish under a translation as far as I am concerned - just explain (in English) that this is what you are doing and maybe at the end of a discussion let the expert know what the conclusion is
