Yielding to the pro-GMO lobby, the committee ignored the opinion of 60% of Europeans who believe that we should first establish the facts before cultivating plants that could threaten our health and our environment. A new initiative allows 1 million of European citizens to submit formal proposals for legislation to the European Commission. Letâ€™s collect a million voices to demand a moratorium on GM crops until the research has been completed. This appeal will be submitted to the President of the European Commission Barroso. Observaţii despre traducere	Yielding to the pro-GMO lobby-->I translated it as "yielding to the requests of the pro-GMO lobby" because it sounds more correct in Greek.
