I'm still not sure about the "nicht präsentabel"/"unpresentable".

Could somebody speaking Hindi comment on the meaning of the original "beswadi yeh raatiyaan"?

Hmm, I think "geschmacklos" won't fit well here as in German it implies a really stong negative meaning - something like "distasteful".

What about "fad"?
