Oversættelse - Japansk-Engelsk - 町らしき影は全然見えないな。

I found that phrase in a manga, Hunter x Hunter 14 volume but I didn't understand what it means. I tried to search everywhere about the meaning but I didn't understand.
That "町らしき影" is the question. What does it means?

I think a speaker want to say it.
