- Even though closer to the original, "que fais-tu?" sounds to me a little short... If I was writing it in French, I'd probably say "Que fais-tu de bon" or "Qu'est-ce que tu fais de bon", but that might sound a little too informal to some.
- If the addressee is a close friend, "Salut" would also work in place of "Bonjour"
