Huomioita käännöksestä	Il s'agit d'un passage tirÃ© du chapitre XXIV des Merveilles du Monde de Caius Julius Solinus, oÃ¹ est dÃ©crit le mont Atlas. Il faut lire "choris aegipanum" [abl.] et non "chorus". J'ai traduit "per oram maritimam" par "le long de, etc.", l'idÃ©e est sans doute que l'on peut entendre rÃ©sonner les instruments jusqu'aux rivages = Ã travers le rivage.

Huomioita käännöksestä	Cap. XXIV, Caius Julius Solinus, "De Mirabilibus Mundi". He's talking about Mount Atlas. Literally: "it isn't isolated without horror"; "the singing of flutes and the tinkle of cymbals are heard". "Per oram maritimam" = you can hear the singing of these instruments even along the seashore.
