She is a kindergarten teacher who can't give birth and, with her husband, they adopt a ginger baby. Many years later, the baby's biological mother suddenly appears in that idyllic scene, tearing apart the peacefullness that used to be. Through many different stages, since the child's arrival to his new home until he grows into an adult, this book introduces us to characters like: Grandma, a hard-edged woman particularly loving of this grandson of hers, although she and Paula are a living example of troubled relationships between mothers and daugthers; or Anna, the young girl who shows herself in his awakening to adolescence. With a classic dance background we'll attend to a love story that will be a turning point, and where everyone has more in common than it seems.
