ملاحظاتی درباره ترجمه
There were some problems with understanding of 'Engelli oda' ('Room with obstacle(s)' in the English translation). The first Russian translation of this phrase was 'Комната инвалидов' but the most possible that this translation isn't correct. As I mentioned above it sounds too rough and it's obvious that the word 'инвалид' is not present in the Turkish and English texts. So I had to replace the first version 'комната инвалидов' with 'комната с ограничениями' inasmuch as it looks more suitable for this case. This phrase can be also translated as 'ограниченная комната' or 'комната с препятствиями'.

I did not like комната инвалидов. Obstacle(s) means препятствия. But then I don"t understand the meaning of "room with obstacles" eighter in this context.

Room with obstacle(s) - комната с препятствиями.
Translation "комната инвалидов" is completely wrong.

But комната с препятствиями doesn`t make any sence in the context, as far as I understand the text is about a hotel. May be the translation into English was not correct.

drakova, It does make sense. Look at this web page http://www.turktravel.net/Hotel_detail.asp?IDS=3293
At the bottom of the 'Hotel Feature' you can find 'Room (with obstacles) :N/A' this room isn't present at this hotel. But it's mean that this 'room (with obstacles) can be present at a hotel.

I believe "Engelli oda" is not correctly translated, although I have no idea what is meant by this.

I don't know Turkish, but I am able to look in Turkish-Russian dictionary and...

engelli
1) имеющий препятствия / помехи
2) имеющий заграждения

oda
1) комната, помещение, номер (в отеле)

or Turkish-English dictionary...

engelli
1. having obstacles; obstructed, blocked.
2. sports having hurdles.
engelli koÅŸu sports hurdles, steeplechase.

oda
1. room.
2. association, society, organization.

This hotel has an 'obstacle room'
http://www.zorlugrand.com/page.asp?id=21

So maybe the most possible translation for...

'Engelli oda' = 'Room with obstacles (Obstacle room)' = 'Комната с ограничениями (Ограниченная комната)'. In any case it's not 'Комната инвалидов'.

I saw the pictures as well, but I still don´t understand. The explanation says:"A room designed with special equipping and two beds. Iron and ironing board are available."What is this special equipping for?

Добрый день..) Я смотрела по словарям что с турецкого engelli - это препятствие, что с англ obstacle - препятствие, но вот как комнату с перегородкой или препятствием связать, даже не знаю..)

Hello everyone!
Telling the truth I see only two variants how can this 'room with obstacles' be determined. First... it can describe a room type at a hotel like example a small (obstacle) room - room smaller than others - something like that. Second... a room with special equipment for persons with limited physical ability. But it's only my guesses. Even if my second idea is true then anyway translation 'комната инвалидов' sounds too rough and it's obvious that the word 'инвалид' is not present in the Turkish and English texts. So I propose to the expert who will validate this translation simply replace 'комната инвалидов' with 'комната с ограничениями' and then add to the remarks other versions of Russian translation - 'ограниченная комната', 'комната с препятствиями'. This translation is hangin' here about three weeks maybe it's time to do something with it.

Room with obstacle(s)! Means a room with something one might trip up over or bump into! So I think it is implying that it is NOT suitable for disabled!

The first three are correct, 4th and 5th are literally translated and have no sensibly meaning. The 6th row is correct, but it needs an inversion: 466 rooms in total.
