Largissime dr prophetia ispiratio divina occulta denuncians, et hoc mo prophetia no magis de pteritis , q. de psentibus, et de futuris est, cu utraq; possint esse abscodita, et a Deo revelata: et sic historia creationis, q. Moyses scripsit in Genesi.
翻訳についてのコメント
This passage is difficult for me to decipher b/c the author abbreviates many of the words. My impression is that he means to say something like: the greatest level of prophecy is knowledge of hidden facts, whether of the past, the present or the future, facts that are knowable only through divine revelation.

jairhaas, I know you had a problem to decipher this source, but we can't accept texts with so many misspellings. Try to type it down once again, please. We have to reject this one, sorry.

The problem is, that there are no misspellings, this is what is written. For example, the author writes "cu" instead of "cum", "psentibus" instead of "prosentibus" (?) etc.
What I meant was that I had difficulties deciphering its meaning, not the actual letters.

But "scriptit" isn't possible form according to me. It should be "scripsit".

Let's ask our great epigraphist.
Efee could you check the text?

You were right on this one, I have changed to "scripsit". Sorry, my mistake!

Aneta, I would like to send you an image of the text, which might be helpful. How can this be done?

Dear jairhaas, I'd like to help you, but I'm not still able to recognize some abbreviations here, for example: "mo", "no" (looks like English "no" for "number", but I doubt it is the same ) , q.
They are probably not abbreviations from ancient period of Latin existing. This is why I don't know them. Maybe the other exper for Latin - Efylove would know them and she would be more right person to deal with the text...

But if you help me with the abbreviations, I will try to translate it for you.

The text is not ancient, it is a typewritten text from the first half of the 15th century.

"mo" and "no" have some sort of line above the "o", my guess is that an "n" is to be complemented: "non", "mon" (?). In "dr" there is a line above the "r". "Ispiratio" - line above "I". "q" has two small hardly identifiable letters above it, maybe "quo" or "qui"? "Cu" - line above "u". "abscodita" - line above "O". "pteritis" and "psentibus" - line above "p", obviously "re" has to be supplied in both cases.

I have changed the request to MO, b/c I am a bit desperate, the text is crucial for a research I am carrying out.

Thanks for your willingness to help, pity I never have opportunities to return you favours.

ispiratio or ispirato or maybe inspiratio? You typed the second option in your request. Could you check your request precisely, jairhaas. I don't expect any repaying from you, only your cooperation with me here...

I checked and edited to "ispiratio"

Hm, but it is probably the same with ancient "inspiratio". Also "denuncians" is obviously an equivalent for ancient "denuntians"...

Don't worry, we will deal with it. Give me some time and be ready for more questions of mine, ok? I have just started to translate it...
