"I must leave out. May I see you a little?" --> This is more accurate, I think.


Before leaving, s/he wants to see him/her, and is asking permission for it. So using "may" here is more appropriate.

"leave" means "go out" "go away".
"leave out" means "exclude"

I think we don't need that "out" here, do we?

Just 'leave' should be enough.

If so, it should be: "May I see you for a while?"
