"están alejados" means "estão afastados" or "estão-se a afastar"?  Because "s'éloignent" means "estão-se a afastar".

"Están alejados" significa que está havendo um afastamento. Como diriamos em Br. Port: Estão se afastando (estão-se a afastar).
Se fosse posto como: "están alejándose" acharias correto? Daria no mesmo. | | |

I wasn't sure about "están alejados", because it seemed "estão afastados" in Portuguese. That's why I asked. I am not very good at Spanish, but I prefer asking and learn something that do not ask.
