Hi Adi my dear: when you were here in Papenburg a short while ago it was great. I wish you were here every day. So I could see you every day. And Dorel keeps saying "just forget Adi", I think that’s very stupid of him. Because I will never forget you. You are much too important to me to do so, my sweetheart. But don’t tell him I’ve told you that ok? I think of you every day. And the way you kept looking at me all the time. It was well sweet. Very sweet. OK write back when you can honey. I love you my sweet kiss!!! Your Asya
Viðmerking um umsetingina
I think angeuckt (scandalised) should be angeguckt (looked at).
'well sweet' is used in the UK for 'very sweet'.

Hi Lein,

"lately" in the first sentence does not sound well.
I guess the person is no longer there and "lately" includes the present moment, so parhaps you should use: " a little ago" or something like that.

"And Dorel keeps saying just forget Adi, I think..."
This line needs some punctuation, it should read:

"And Dorel keeps saying: "just forget Adi". I think..."

"Because I will never forget you. You are much too important to me to do so, my sweetheart."

After "OK" we need a question mark (?)

"And how you used to look at me all the time" would sound better.

OK, changed 'lately to 'a short while ago'

Do you prefer to correct missing punctuation, rather than following the original? I left out the punctuation because the original has none, but put it in now.

Changed the next line and question mark.

I left 'were looking at me' because it refers only to the time during the visit / encounter. 'Used to look at me' would be referring to a longer period of time.

Well Lein, but " how you were looking at me" does not sound well.
What about:
"the way you looked (kept looking) at me" ?

Done, thank you!

It should be "MEANING ONLY", because the source-text isn't written with attention enough on signs: . , " and spaces between them and the next word.

Also there are a lot of gramatically errors.

Hello Lilian,

I'm puzzled, because my Romanian translation, based on English one, vanished; without it, Lein has worked in vain, since the request was for Romanian. Do you happen to know where did it go?

Thank you!

P.S. I was disappointed when I've realized that I can't send you a postcard, too.

Thanks Rodrigues, it's "meaning only" now.

And Madeleine,
I don't know how you happen to lose so many translations!
Your Romanian version of this request is there in a poll set by iepurica, being voted. It didn't "vanish".

Hi Lilian,

This is the first one I've ever "lost"
Thank you for your answer!
