Observaţii despre traducere
(Σ.τ.User10)

Hi dear Aneta

Could you please help me with this?

thanos translated the text as follows: "this word (nominative) consolidated the same things (accusative, plural)".

I'd like to ask you if it is acceptable according to the original.I know it's not according to the English version. But, can we really be sure that it is "ipsa res" and not "ipsam rem"? If yes, could you please edit the original so I can ask thanos to modify his translation? Maybe we could give the second version in the remarks field...

Dear Christina, I have already disccused the issue, have a look at posts under the English translation... Unfortunately the requester didn't take a stand.

Well, about the Greek translation. Even if the request should be read "ipsam rem comfirmavit hoc dictum!", what would mean that "ipsam rem" is an object and "hoc dictum" is a subject, the translation should be: "this word (nominative) consolidated the same thing (accusative, singular)".
But the opposite situation is also possible. If the request should be read:"ipsa res comfirmavit hoc dictum!", "ipsa res" would be a subject and "hoc dictum" - an object and the translation would be: "This thing consolidated the word"...
It's a pity the requester doesn't care the request anymore... I can't help you more. I'm very sorry.
