Someone died
And I do not talk that much
And I'm not adding a smiley face
Today and yesterday in his honour

And I will erase the comment because I do not want some people to see it

Good night

Kisses

Live long and remember him

Two questions: a) Line 3 must be some sort of term for when you set a smiley next to your profile or something. Would that be "set a smile" indeed or something else?

b) Line before last. When we give our condolences (I'll edit "my deepest sympathy" later), we often add "may you live to remember him/her". The meaning of this is a twofold wish: a wish for longevity and (therefore) a wish that the deceased is remembered for a long time. Any better way to put it?

What about: "I haven't displayed smileys"

About the expression of condolences, I hadn't heard that one before, but it seems quite clear, I guess. Perhaps "live long" instead of just "live"...

Sorry I didn't see this earlier!

irini, are you sure it is referring to the little ?

I would say "I'm not putting on a smile."

And it if it referring to the , why is it plural in English? I would say, "I'm not adding a smiley face."

Well, the expression she's using for the "smile" sentence is not one used ever for smiling. It can however be used for emoticons. I think she's referring to the smiling emoticon so you are right, it should be "I'm not adding a smiley face" I guess.
