Hi Pia,

Is that "systems" or "system"?
You have to combine the plural noun with the plural form "are".
Anyway we'll have to make a change.
It'll be:
"...how your control systems are, in general (usually), assembled..."
or
"how your control system is, in general (usually) assembled..."

regular to secure ---> regularly to assure
can---> may
for the consumer ---> to consumers

What do you think?

I think that you are right! I guess that they are talking about several control systems, so it's in plural, thank you for your explanation. I seems to forget that ALL the time .. How it works in English.

So, I'll edit to your suggestions

I would like to have the verb after "in general".
".. the control systems in general are assembled.." What do you think?

Yes lenab, that sounds good to me! But I'm not the English expert, so we better wait and see what SHE THINKS!

If that "SHE" is me, I'd say that "in general" like "usually, commonly, always, never, etc..." has to be placed between the two parts of a compound tense or a passive voice like in this case.

You don't have to apologize lenab
At least I think it's good that you "make your voice heard", when you are in doubt about my or other translations.
