Today, despite the fact that digital cameras entered the market only several years ago, the need to buy film and even pay an additional sum for picture development seems like a distant memory, Digital cameras paved the road for consumers to try options perceived to be light-years away during the age of the traditional camera.
Observaţii despre traducere	One particular dilemma involved translating the second sentence. My sense of natural English told me that it would be better- that is- the sentence would read better, if the clause about digital photography being relatively new precede the second clause in the sentence. Of course, changing the order, though making the English sentence sound more natural, does slightly change the semantics of the original sentence, and hence detract from the fidelity of the translation.
