There`s no "OUR lives" in the original either, but the meaning is "our lives" and "our love". The precise translation would be: In the twilight of life we will be judged according to love. It sounds weird. Should a translation be word-to-word, or should it reflect the meaning?

Riječ je o izreci Ivana Krstitelja koja u engleskoj verziji glasi "In the evening of life, we shall be judged on love (alone)". Moguće su i inačice poput "In the evening of life, we shall be judged by love (alone)/according to our love".
* It's a famous quote of Saint John of the Cross that you can find in Maxims, No. 70. Its correct English translation is "In the evening of life, we shall be judged on love (alone)".
