Hi, regarding the bridges, I wil be on it in the next few days, it is just that I have very little time to spend on cucumis recently, other than that it is always a pleasure to be able to help.
Cheers!

alright alihafni, i have a problem, you say its a proverb, the english translation says:
We stand before God even with our backs to him
which means:
سنقف بين يدي الله حتى لو أدرنا ظهورنا له (حتى لو مدبرين)
but im guessing, if it is true that this is a proverb, your translation really is better
أينما توجهنا، فثم وجه الرب
which means: wherever we go, God will be there
i need Bulgarian speakers to tell me if the Arabic one suffices, so that i can change it to be "by meaning only" and validate it
thanks for all the help i can get

Who said it was a proverb It's not.
I think it is its form that makes that phrase - the contradiction implied between being before God even if we turned our backs on him. "Wherever we go, God will be there" doesn't convey the same in a bit.
Now it dawned on me that the translation could be modified in order to enhance this contradiction: "We face God even with our backs to him".

What do you think, Lili?

that settles it, the arabic translation is way off
