This is a French expression, and in the translation frame, it must not be translated literally, even if the literal translation may appear in the comments frame.
To help a little bit, let's say that in English it would be translated literally by : "Your husband, I would give Versailles Paris...", and that it means : "your husband, I would give everything..." We miss some context to translate more accurately this text, which is cut down, so that it's impossible to translate definitely by : " I would give everything for your husband", for instance, as it could be a very different meaning as well. But the expression remains, so the only thing that should be literally translated is the order in which the words were displaid in the original text.

saggeman, I've never heard of this expression in french, I think it's not one.
A quick look on google show that it's in fact an incomplete piece of an old song lyric called "Au près de ma blonde". According to this page i has been written in 1704!

The complete sentence would be :
"
Que donneriez-vous, belle,
Pour avoir votre mari ?
Je donnerais Versailles,
Paris et Saint-Denis.
"
I would translate it approximatively by :
"
What would you give, beauty,
To see your husband ?
I would give Versailles,
Paris and Saint-Denis"

I'm afraid saggeman doesn't understand English, I just hope he forgot to tell it in his profile settings. But about the meaning of this, it is like I said above, means "I would give everything", even if the lack of context does allow to translate literally. I saw saggeman submited other very short and cut down parts of this song on the site, and I let him a message with the French keyboard, after having featured his translation requests in "meaning only"(except this one that I edited with the correct diacritic spelling), because of the lack of diacritics in these French texts, and the lack of punctuation as well...
