I had a meeting with Amaral in the conference room of South China Athletic Association at 8.30am this morning.
I had with me the postings from our blog members and newspaper reports from these 2 days. I translated these examples of public opinion into Portugese so that Amaral understands what had been said.
He promised that from now on, he will consider the opinions of the captain and assistant coach on matters related to training and strategies. He also promised to go through the analysis of other local soccer teams done by various parties and improve his communication with his players.
The post-mortem meeting was at 9.30am. All players had to grade their own performance of the previous match. The players knew that they had performed below expectations. They had been too nervous during the match to perform at their usual standard.
