I ja se takođe nadam da ćeš ti biti ta osoba u koju ću se zaljubiti, al' sretno... Voljela bih samo da si bliže, da te bar mogu vidjeti i fino pričati s tobom.

I also hope that you will be the one whom I will happily fall in love with. I would only like you to be closer so that I could at least see you and talk to you nicely.

Hi CursedZephyr,
There are two words there that puzzle me: "happily" and "perfectly"
Why ", but happily"? "talk to you perfectly"?
Can you explain that in different words to see if I get it?

I don't understand this, either. There must be something wrong with the original text. "Al sretno..." says, it means exactly "but happily..." Where's the rest of the sentence, I don't know :-/ Maybe, he's talking about being in love and tries to say "this will be the fortunate one". As for "perfectly", "fin" means "perfect, fine".. In this sentence, "fino" is an adverb. I know, "perfectly" doesn't suit but I couldn't find something to replace :-(

I think "perfectly" could be: "nicely", but for that "but happily" we'll need some help.

Please Lakil, can you find a better wording?

Hey lilian, lakil seems too busy to deal with this. Maybe, fikomix can help us.

Hi guys - thank you for your patience. The translation is actually correct, although I understand that the wording in English language might be a little bit off; “but happily” is referred to she is hoping that happy/perfect falling in love, with a happy outcome. That’s the meaning of it really.

Thanks Lakil, but what about that "perfectly" at the end?

I would use 'perfectly' in this case...but happily sounds fine too....I revised the sentence down bellow...

No, not that. What about "fino"? Should I translate it as "perfectly"? "...talk to you 'perfectly'..." ?
