Title
My house
Translation
English

Translated by Anna_Louise
Target language: English

My house is in the countryside. It has four rooms, two on the ground floor and two on the second. On the first floor is the kitchen, a recreation room and a guest room. On the second floor is the master bedroom and the children's room. In the house the classical furniture is my favorite, 3 television sets, a VCR. There are many books in my house, but no computer.
Remarks about the translation
I am fluent in English but not in Lithuanian, if anyone can do better please do so.

Would you rather have the kitchen, recreation room and guestroom on the second floor and the bedrooms on the ground floor ?

Yeah in French as well our "1er étage" is the English second floor. English consider the ground floor (Rez-de chaussée in French)as "1st floor".

Thought that was the way to check if the translation is wrong?

The translation is being evaluated.
The poll will say if it's correct.
That's the expert's job, not the admin's, OK?

Name means in the house. The house is furnished in my favorite classical style, with 3 television sets and a VCR.

This looks like homework!
