kafetzou, I allowed myself to edit the last sentence, which was "good appetite", as you told me once that English people never say "good appetite", but rather say : "Have a good meal"...

Good meal or nice meal? Just asking. Or does it depend on the region/country?

I guess you're right, I didn't assimilate it yet, it is too recent! it must be "have a nice meal", I'd swear it now that you said it this way! I'll edit, thanks for reminding it.

Portuguese querida = English darling.

estas boa = are you well?

Americans say Bon apetite (French, apeing Julia Child) or Enjoy your meal.

"gagico"(Romanian), I don't know exactly what it means, but I'll ask Iepurica. Same for "totul bine cu tine?", I think it must be "everything's fine with you"? without being sure at 100%
I edited with "enjoy your meal", it is the exact one but I didn't remember...

"gagico" is an word half-funny, half-insulting (depends on the person who is addressed to, people "see" this word differently) which can be translated by "baby" or "honey". So, I believe there is used the right word.
"Totul bine cu tine" would be "everything ok with you?" or how Francky said: "everything's fine with you?"
