Seni sevgini kaybettikten sonra
Bende fazla bir ÅŸeyler deÄŸiÅŸmedi
Yine sana aşkına yazıyorum
Aklımda deli gibi düşünceler
Seni düşünüp ağlıyorum.

DeÄŸiÅŸiklik yok eskisi gibiyim
Bakışlarım korkulu karamsar ürkek
Gözlerim çoktandır gülmeye küskün
Yaşamak tat vermiyor ağlıyorum
Çiçekleri yolup atıyorum bir bir
Şimdi önümde karanlık bir mezar
Usanmadan bıkmadan kazıyorum.

Since losing you and your love

Since losing you and your love
Not much has changed with me
I still write to you and your love
With crazy thoughts in my head
I think of you and cry.

There's no change, I'm like I used to be
My gaze is fearful, dark, and timid
My eyes have been offended by laughing for a long time
Living is devoid of pleasure, I cry
I pick the flowers and and throw them away one by one
Now there is a dark grave in front of me
I'm digging it without getting bored or tired of it.

Great translation Laura, but I think these parts need to be edited:

1) Bakışlarım korkulu karamsar ürkek --> My glances are fearful, pessimistic/dark, timid

2) Gözlerim çoktandır gülmeye küskün --> My eyes've been offended by/resentful to laughing since a long time
(refuse: "reddetmek" not "küsmek" )

3) YaÅŸamak tat vermiyor --> Life is no longer pleasurable (It lost its charm and doesn't give any pleasure.)

Do you think it's OK now, Handyy?

Yep, everything is OK now (except from "my gaze": in the Turkish text it says "bakışlarım", so it is better to put it in plural form, I think.)

That doesn't really work in English. I've never heard of "gazes".

What about "glances" ?

A "glance" is when you look at something briefly, as in "to glance over a report". There is no really good translation for "bakış" - we have the same problem in Greek, as there's a word (βλέμμα) that means the exact same thing, and often turns up in poems and songs, but there's no English equivalent.

OK, I got it! Thanks for your explanation - now I can change my vote.
