Jei aš šokčiau pro langą -
Tai tik lapkričio mėnesį,
Kai Å¡aligatvis klotas
Nukraujuojančiais lapais.
Į mane pažiūrėti subėgtų
Kiemo vaikai.
Aš šypsočiausi jiems,
Aš šypsočiausi jiems dar ilgai.

Aš sakyčiau:
- Vaikučiai, nebijokite nieko:
Nei mirties, nei mokyklos, nei
blogų pažymių.
Aš sakyčiau:
- Vaikučiai, kad tik jūs žinotumėt,
Kaip visa tai nesvarbu,
Nesvarbu...
Nesvarbu...

If I jumped out of the window...

अनुबाद गर्नुपर्ने भाषा: अंग्रेजी

If I jumped out of the window -
I would only do that in November,
When the pavement is blanketed with
Bleeding leaves.
Children from the yard
Would run to look at me.
I would smile at them,
I would keep still, smiling at them for a long time.

I would say:
- Children, be afraid of nothing:
Neither of death, nor of school, nor of bad grades.
I would say:
- Children, if only you knew
How insignificant it all is...
Insignificant...
Insignificant...

Note by the translator: Don't freak out, it is but a song (by Alina Orlova).

This "if only you knew" could as well be understood as "I wish you knew".

Hi Dzuljeta,

What about using "insignificant"?

How insignificant all is...
Insignificant...
Insignificant...

Also, there's a typo in "November"
and I would say just "in November"

I would keep still, smiling at them for a long time.

Hi Lilian,

Thanks I think you're right, "insignificant" sounds much better As for "in November" - yes, but I tried to make it sound more poetic. I guess my attempt failed
