As far as I know both of them are ok - fliers and flyers. But maybe you're right - flyers is more popular...

The missing word is "Faltblaetter" (german)

If you can think about an English word that means "folded flyer" - that is the missing word (if you insist on equalizing the number of words in both texts...).
