Fotograf z fantazjÄ…

Oglądając romantyczne zdjęcia swoje
odgaduję fantazję myśli Twojej

i czuję na sobie spojrzenie czułe
złożone z pasją fotografa-mężczyzny
co jest pod urokiem kobiety

The imaginative photographer

Looking through my romantic photographs
I make guesses about the fancy of Your thought
and I feel a tender look on me
cast with the passion of a male photographer
under the spell of a woman
a loved one
the only one
his one

Beautful as usual, Alexander!
But, shouldn't be "fantasy" instead of "fancy"?

And "fanciful", hmm. My dictionary describes the adjecive as "not based on reality", but this is not exactly what I meant. I meant rather a male photographer whose "fantasy" is great..., who fantasize a lot and is very creative taking pictures of the woman...

I took it from Merriam Webster:
1 : marked by fancy or unrestrained imagination rather than by reason and experience <a fanciful person>

To some extent, "fancy" and "fantasy" are synonyms.
As of now, I do not have a better idea. Perhaps in a day or two something new shows up.

So, let's leave the issue to our English expert...

Could "ingenious" or "imaginative" fit better (instead of "fanciful" )?

Seems like "imaginative" is a bit better here.

imaginative

1. having a lively or creative imagination
2. tending to be fanciful or inventive
3. false or imagined

fanciful

1. imaginative or fantastic; unreal or imagined

Referring to a person, "fanciful" means something like "dreamer", though.

Yeah, and since a photographer must be both a technician and an artist, he better be imaginative (so that he can imagine the results of his fancy) than fanciful.
