"
1. optimam partem elegit, quae non auferetur ab ea
OR
2. imam partem elegit, vae non auferetur ab ea
"

It was the second text.

But it is interesting that Joner and you write the first because it became clear that this frase came from the bible. When Jesus says the first text to Martha about Maria.

But the text I saw was the second. I believe the person who wrote it wanted to use an edited part of the gospel to contradict a catholic girl. It was a very emotional discusion about religion x atheism in a forum. Thank you.

see
Luke 10:
40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:
42 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her

Il signore Luccaro,
Non posso farlo perche tu sei Italiano y questo significa che sia un experto
Forse , Galatasaray è il migliore?
Che pensi ? :/

------------------------------------------
"Galatasay en iyisidir".

"Galatasaray è ottimo" doesn't sound very "italian".
is it possibile to translate "iyisidir" with "il migliore"?

es justo traducir "iyisidir" como "el mejor" (y no como "optimo"?

Hi, as I don't have an easy tool to check the translations updated, I often don't see them ^_^. I've just update the website with your changes. and I will think about developing something to warn me about updates

mmmh, I studied English at school for 8 years, since I was a boy. then I spent one month in New York in 2001 to practise the language.
so I'm not a novice, but I think my English is not so good (a bit better than a school level).

anyway, I see there's a lackness of English experts on cucumis (have you read the message I wrote to Chantal this morning?). so I would be glad to help, if you think I'm ok to contribute.

maybe I could start evaluating simple periods...

but first of all I'd be very happy to hear some English expert about the English translations I've already done on cucumis.

see you soon, bye

Hi luccaro!
Thank you very much about your translation!
But, i didn't understand, i say, in an dictionary i found something like: subverto, subvorto, subvertis, subversum.
The text is: Subversion for all life (Subversão por toda vida), in portuguese brazilian this text became with an double meaning and i would like to keep this caracteristic, like: subversion during all life, and subversion for all life. And i thought subversion was an nominativo and life was dativo.
So i thought the text will became something like: subverto per tota a vita.
Please help me to understand this!

I hope u could help me translating this to LATIN :

"(I) Fight for what is Fair
(I) Run for What is Right
(I) Practice Respect
My Heart is Honest"

Can you also read in portuguese?
If you do, this is the same text, but now in portuguese:

" Luto pelo Justo
Corro pelo Certo
Pratico o Respeito
Meu Coração é Honesto "

It would mean a lot to me if you colud translate that for me
thanks a lot
