Via Luminosa

"dairy strainers" or maybe "fabric for dairy strainers"

Hi ViaLuminosa

The English looks fine - just two questions:
- do you need 'dairy' before 'milk'? Or is this to distinguish it from things like goat's milk?

- Are you sure there is no error, in the original perhaps? A company specialised in all kinds of textile products plus milk strainers (generally made from metal I think) seems very odd... Could this be a typo in the original? Any word that might fit better? Is their website any help?

I'm not doubting your English or your Bulgarian - it just seems very strange!

Wow, very clever of you to search for their website, Lein, thank you! Unfortunately, this page has no clues about the topic with the dairy strainers. Dairy strainer, according to my dictionary and Google, refers to the filtering tissue used in dairies to filter milk (of any origin). Or not? Aside from that, this advertisement is generally poorly composed and I told the requester that.

Ah, ok, I could only find milk strainers as metal implements.
I searched a bit further and I could see some cloth ones. How about 'fabric for dairy strainers'?

Why not? But in the original it's written exactly "strainers for dairies". Maybe we could make this adjustment for good after all...

Thanks! I have left 'dairy strainers' in your translation and gave my alternative in the comments. I'll set a poll but I don't think I'll get many votes so may just have to accept based on your word

Yeah, I also think there won't be many votes... Do as you think it's best, Lein.
