Just a minute,

There is a mistake in the Turkish text.

Kağıt, zarfa sığmadığı için kesmek zorunda kaldım. (= I had to cut the paper because it didn't fit into the envelope)

If you are right about Turkish text, it will be like your offer.

Could one of you ask the requester (maybe in a PM) if this is what he meant please? According to his profile, he doesn't speak English. Thanks!

I did it.

In my humble opinion, the simple past tense should be usedfor the translation. I mean "It didn't fit." is more proper than "It doesn't fit"
