Hello, everybody. I am a (starting in August) university student in the United States. I was browsing the web a few days ago searching for something that would help me retain and expand my knowledge of languages, especially Latin, since my instruction in it has come to an end. I saw a few sites before I found Cucumis, and I fell in love with its goals and structure, so here I am.
I'm a native English speaker. I also know Latin proficiently and know Hindi almost conversationally. In the future I want to finish mastering Hindi, learn Chinese or Korean, and pick up French. (And I hope I'll do more.)
I'm very happy I found this site. I look forward to contributing, look forward even more to learning from translations, and look forward most to meeting all sorts of people from around the world
