When I had become a member, I had added English + Urdu as my source language, and Hindi as my target language.

Now, i feel that I am not having that much expertise on Urdu so as to do the translations, hence I wish to remove it from my source language.

I couldn't see where to modify our selected "source/ target" languages? I have removed urdu from my "Edit profile", but it is still appearing as my source language in my profile display.

another suggestion is: in "edit profile", attend to only those CHANGES that we do. Ignore those values which remain unchanged. This is about password, you are displaying password and we have to enter it in confirmation. We need to do it every time. It is unnecessary, if we are not changing the password.

Suggest you please don't display even the first password. and ignore unless user enters password both the times. Anybody needing to change password will enter it twice. To safegaurd there can be an "existing password" and "new password" twice.

Just a thought.

Thanks.

OK I keep in mind your remark about the password.

To change your language preferences : you go here and must check the "save preferences" box. Then remove Urdu by clicking on the red icon and launch the search.

The language preferences is something different fro the "languages you can read" in your profile page. This language list is shown on your inbow message box, to inform a member who wish to send you a message, what languages you can understand.

Maybe I could add the possibility to edit the translation preferences in the profile page too, what do you think?

The link you gave doesn't show any option to modify my languages. In any case, the page is in some language that I don't understand so I could not make out much.

yeah, I think all our settings should be somewhere in our profile page.
