In case you want to translate a private or copyrighted text, you can deselect this option. Your text won't be shown on cucumis.org pages anymore once it is translated. That means it will be deleted from the cucumis.org database a few weeks after it is translated. Even if you don't authorize to publish your text on cucumis.org, be aware that while the text is not translated, it is visible by everybody.
